Trinidad: Probe into WASA shooting

Law enforcement officials are probing a shooting incident that occurred on the Tacarigua compound of the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) on Monday, May 17, 2021.

No one was injured.

According to media and police reports, at about 7:30 a.m., three suspects pulled up into the compound in a white vehicle after which a barrage of gunshots was heard.

Reports indicate that a white Nissan Tiida was riddled with bullets.

Over 30 spent shells were recovered from the scene, according to reports.
