Bermuda: Attempted art gallery theft

A 52-year-old man is scheduled to reappear in the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, June 7, 2021, after he was accused of trespass with intent to steal from the Bermuda Society of Arts gallery last month.

The accused, Junius Caines, who was remanded in custody, is expected to enter a plea when he appears in court on Monday.

The incident reportedly occurred on May 15 at City Hall, Hamilton, which houses the gallery.
